windandthestars to geek out with me about the most random things. Our latest obsession is the Canadian Northwest Territories - a place neither of us has actually been, I don't think. Lisa's been to Vancouver and I've been to Ontario, neither of which are the North like that.
I blame this obsession completely and fully on my obsession with Canadian television, most recently Arctic Air. I went through this phase with Newfoundland back when I was on a Republic of Doyle kick, so, it's not entirely unprecedented.
Since I got my tax return today I splurged on a bunch of Kindle books about/set in the NWT - a mix of history and slice of life stuff, some fiction, etc.
