[Fic] Updates
Well, I haven't worked any on my Big Bang >.> Sob. Still, I'm probably way ahead as it is for a June 30 finish date so I'm not too worried. I did write another 1438 words on Cowboy!Will (which brings it up to 3395 for those following along at home). Here, have a snippet. “I sincerely hope you don’t think I’m going to work a hand’s hours. I’ve other social and business commitments.”
The look on her face is nothing short of hilarious and if Will had anything approaching a poker face, he’d be milking it for all its worth. As it is, he’s not going to be able to let her labor under the delusion that he wants her to work like a hand and he shakes his head, smile pulling at his lips. He runs a hand through his hair to try and mitigate the worst of the mess (there’s nothing for it, though, because it’s wild, curly and probably needs to go back under his hat sooner rather than later).
“Wouldn’t expect it. I still want you to know what happens around here, though, but we can schedule it for when you’ve got a day you can work. Because I’ll put you to work, yeah, but it’ll feel good at the end of the day.”
More like bone tired but it sounds good in his head so he puts it that way, hopes he sells her on it. She still looks skeptical, perfect brow arching, and the little half-frown, half-pout on her lips is adorable and Will wants to kiss it off. It’s probably not the best idea he’s ever had but it’s not the worst and if she’s amenable to it, maybe he’ll try to steal a kiss or three; it’s not like a woman like her is anywhere near his league but damn, if he can’t hope. Maybe she’s lonely and wants someone to take to bed every once in a while. Will can be that guy for her, if she wants.

This is funny and beautiful and <3333. Will made a funny and his hair is epic and "but it'll feel good at the end of the day" and he "can be that guy for her." I love it when Will is that guy. *happy sighs*

My actual point in commenting was to say, I care too! I'm totally looking forward to reading this because (a) I love your fics, (b) I really need more Will/Helen in my life and (c) I just love how your Will characterization and how he talks about Helen, (which is also a and b but, whatever, it's worth saying again) because it's just so perfect and adorable and adoring and just, guh.
So, yeah, definitely looking forward to this being posted and for any other pieces you might want to post before putting it all up. :D

No seriously, it was perfect. Should you ever get the urge to write more of it, like, lots and lots more of it, I would totally be up for reading it. Just saying...
And yes, why isn't there more of it? Especially since I can see either of them being a top in the relationship. But there's very few fics out there that even touch on those themes and even fewer that do it well.
