:( I know a couple women who continue to use their maiden name at work but changed it legally to their spouses name. To save on confusion in a professional capacity.
Yeah I can't even imagine. If I ever get married we and the spouse may have to have a come to Jesus about the name thing. I like my name, but more to the point I have a professional license in my name and while it's easy enough to change along with legally changing your name I can't do the one legal name/one work name thing because my license HAS to have my legal name on it.
Of course the chances of me ever getting married are slim to none so...
Oh SHIT thank you for reminding me! I've got to call the insurance department and the PI licensing board and find out what they need for me to have my name changed on my license. OI.
