The Hobbit

It's not lost on me that exactly ten years ago I was in a theater watching The Two Towers ;__;

Without spoilers, I thought the movie was incredible and I really liked all the casting. They made some hot dwarves in Erebor, s'all I'm saying.

The music was to die for, the scenery, the everything. Peter Jackson, please take all my money and feels and hoard them beneath the mountain like Smaug.

And now I have the inexplicable desire to RP Gandalf or possibly Thorin shut up.

I just saw it last night and, basically, if you can imagine a pug puppy rolling around joyfully in the snow, that was me. Just when I thought I had acclimated myself to MORE MIDDLE EARTH something else would happen and set me off again.

I could definitely clearly see how you'd want to RP some of those people in there too. Gandalf is just- SIGH- perfection.

I RPd Aragorn for YEARS and he's obviously not an option since Brad has him but I got pinged HARD by Gandalf. Must resist...precious.

And yes, I was rolling around in all the delicious feels. I want to see it again.

I really really loved what we got of Gandalf in this movie- Sir Ian is SO GOOD. He and Galadriel were tremendous as was his little grumble about dwarves before the trolls. Plus I loved the use of magic he got to do, really loved it.

Ruth and I are going to see it at a movie where there are sofas! It's going to be awesome.

How appropriate for a Hobbit :) We have a theater here that serves dinner and has comfy sofas and choices of wine. I love going there.
