I hate Mondays is fairly accurate considering between panic attacks I realized I would not have to be at work this week and be screamed at like I was today so. Upside. Even if it's a very trivial one.

Sometimes the trivial ones are what you get. Take care of yourself and legit tell your work to fuck off if they even get near giving you a hard time.

-relationships continue and can even improve after death.

Right now I'm just trying not to flip my shit because I'm by myself and clearly too impaired to drive the hour and change to my mother's. I've taken to cleaning which is disturbing to say the least.

There aren't any right words for this, and I'm sorry for your loss, while heartfelt, always has the tendency to make the writer feel like he/she is tossing out platitudes, myself included. Just know I'm thinking of you and your family as you move through and past this horrible time. I hope he's at peace now, and that you can all find the same once the shock of loss ebbs.
